What’s new in the Moto Edge 70?
The Motorola Edge 70 is the world’s thinnest Android smartphone with a thickness of just 5.99 mm. To put that in perspective, it is 27% slimmer than the iPhone 16 Pro (8.25 mm). In China, the same device was launched under the name Moto X70 Air.
Silicon-carbon battery: For the first time, Moto edge 70 has used a 4,800mAh silicon-carbon battery. This advanced technology allows the phone to remain ultra-thin while still delivering all-day battery life. It comes with a 68W fast charger that fully charges the device in approximately 45 minutes.
IP69 rating: While IP68 is now common, the rarer IP69 certification means the phone can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
6 years of security updates: Most brands offer 3–4 years of security patches, but the moto Edge 70 promises a full 6 years of security updates.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset: This is the first phone globally to feature the brand-new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.
